BULLARD, LT. COL. PAUL KENNETH "PETE," 83, of Tampa, died Friday (Oct. 21, 2005). Born at Fort Eustis, Va., he was the youngest of six siblings. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, and joined U.S. occupation forces in Germany. A combat tour in Vietnam earned him the Distinguished Flying Cross. He also was awarded the Air Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal and others. Before retiring, he was assigned to MacDill Air Force Base. He enjoyed golf, fishing, elk hunting, traveling and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Marian Mynatt Bullard; a daughter, Kathleen Robarts; a son, Paul Kenneth Bullard II, of Seminole; a stepson, "Rocky" Stephens, of Tennessee; five stepdaughters, Connie Snyder, Cathy Kotala, Carol Bodden, Caryn Hibdon and Christi Taylor; a sister, A.L. Ward, of Georgia; 13 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, Tampa.
