Loving daughter of Tilford Jefferson and Laura Lee (nee Thomson) Jones.

With the help of her dear Aunt Sue, Mabel was able to attend Cordell Christian College in Cordell, Oklahoma. There, she happened to take a course in logic which was taught by John Pearl Prevatt, her future husband.

Ina Mabel Prevatt married John Pearl Prevatt 19 Aug 1914 in Odessa, Lafayette County, Missouri with Bro. Richard Neeley Gardner as the officiant.

She was a faithful servant to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a wonderful great grandmother. She was content to "let her light shine" by being a very supportive Christian wife and mother.

She loved green beans with ketchup and fishing for bream with a cane pole.
