Mrs. Pfeifle was born Alma Stadel on May 15,1916, in McPherson County, SD near Eureka. She was a homemaker who lived in South Dakota and Washington state before moving in 1983 to Portland. In 1937, she married Arthur Pfeifle; he died in 1981.
Survivors include her daughter Betty Peyrollaz; and nieces and nephews.
