The couple lived in Helena all their married life. They operated a dairy farm for 30 years. Mr. Durant was also employed in the carpenter shop at the Aluminum Company of America, Massena, retiring in 1969 after 33 years of service.
He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club and the Democratic Club, town of Brasher.
