Donald James "Jim" Cummins age 71 passed Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center located in Pikeville KY.

Jim was born December 18, 1936 to Don Cummins and Marie Cummins Phillips.

He was a retired heating and cooling technician and a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents Don Cummins and Marie C. Phillips and loving wife Phyllis Cummins.

Left to mourn his passing is two sons: Clayton Clay (Teresa) Cummins of Lexington, KY. William Bill (Helena Lou) Cummins, of Pikeville, KY. One daughter Sandra Tibbs of Detroit, MI.

Five grandchildren Jamie Wojciechowski, Jody Tibbs, Desi D'Anglo, Nikki Cummins, Airel Cummins, three step-grandchildren, Michael Gibson, Kay Kay Gibson, William Gibson and a host of Great Grandchildren.

Visitation: Saturday November 1, 2008 after 5PM.Open visitation Sunday November 2, 2008. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Thacker Funeral Home with Jerry Damron and E.W. Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Thacker Funeral Home of Pikeville, KY.
