Fletcher William Caldwell, 72, died June 27 in a local hospital. He was a retired carpenter and businessman, former owner of Caldwell Hardware, a World War II veteran and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Caldwell of Hot Springs; a son, Kenneth Caldwell of Hot Springs; two stepsons, Johnny Holder of Hot Springs, and Calvin Moore of El Paso, Texas; a stepdaughter, Shirley Cantrell of Benton; 2 brothers, W. C. Caldwell of Bryant, J. D. Caldwell of Benton; a sister, Harriett Harris of Bryant; 2 granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Caruth Funeral Chapel with the Rev Jimmy Dale Johnson officiating. Pallbearers are Walter G. Wright, Guy Cook, Preston Cantrell, Jim Heramb, Lynn Taylor and Claude Washington. Honorary pallbearers are the Rev. M. M. Taylor, Carl Lee Bryant, Dave Watson, Coy Blaylock, Dr George P.
