A native and lifelong resident of the Port Arthur and Beaumont area, she was a hairdresser for many years. She was also a member of Temple Emanuel in Beaumont.
Survivors include her husband Jeffrey Allen; father and mother, Jack and Gloria Saxon; one sister, Sheila Bush and husband Darrell; one brother Randy Saxon; two nieces, Misty Craver and Ashley Bush.
