Warren was the son of Lewis Jr. & Clemence (Spenny) Dulin. He was born and grew up on a family farm in Norwich Township, Franklin County, OH. On March 10, 1859, Warren was married to Martha A. Harkins in Norwich Township. The couple reportedly parented eight children between the years of 1860 & 1883: Clara Marie Dulin, Edwin (a.k.a. "Edward") Smith Dulin, David S. Dulin, Thomas Wallis Dulin (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Charles William Dulin (also buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery), Delmar Alburn Dulin, Bessie Dulin, & Lewis Nathan Dulin. Warren & Martha continued to live on a family farm in Norwich Township until at least 1880. Following Martha's death in 1898, Warren moved to the city of Columbus, OH, and he can be found on the 1910 Federal Census living on West Town Street. Warren's death certificate listed his occupation as "farmer."
