TROXELL, DONALD LUTHER
Mr. Troxell, 58, of Blandburg, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1988, at Altoona Hospital. Mr. Troxell had been employed at Hughes Coal Co., Blandburg. He was born Aug. 28, 1930, in Blandburg, the son of Luther E. Jr. and Evelyn (Miller) Troxell, and July 1, 1950, in Winchester, Va., married Mary G. Campbell. Surviving are his wife, four children: Debbie J. Ponish of Coalport RD; Dee A. Gunia of Bellwood, Don Jr. of Fallentimber; and Daniel N., serving with the Army in Fort Campbell, Ky.; and nine grandchildren. Also surviving is his mother of Blandburg. Mr. Troxell was a member of the United Methodist Church, Blandburg. He was also a member of the United Mine Workers of America and the National Rifle Association. Mr. Troxell was a 1948 graduate of Reade Township High School. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
TROXELL - Services for Donald L. Troxell of Blandburg will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, by the Rev. Warren C. Cravotta. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and noon until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. He is survived by grandchildren: John and Kelly Gunia; Tammy, Dana and Kelsey and Justin Troxell and Michael, Stephen and Stephanie Ponish.
