Catherine E. Gray, 88, Lagro, died at 5:07 AM Saturday, Oct. 31, 1987, at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Gray was born March 29, 1899, in Marshall County to Lafayette and Alice (Blubaugh) Freeman. Her marriage was April 8, 1917 in Gas City to Howard Gray, who died April 25, 1985.
Mrs. Gray had attended the Church of God in Wabash.
Survivors include a son, Richard Gray, Lagro; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Vaughn Gray and Jerald Gray, and one daughter, Earlymond Gray.
Services were held Tuesday at Deal Funeral Home, Andrews, with Rev. Thomas Curry officiating. Pallbearers were her grandsons: Rick Gray, Tom Gray, Don Gray, Bob Gray, Larry Gray, and Dennis Gray. Honorary pallbearers were Dan Gray and David Scott.
