DIED
Mrs. Clennie Delay, aged 31 years, 8 months and 17 days, died at a local hospital, January 8, having undergone an operation on Sunday, January 6. She was the wife of Alvin Delay, who lives 18 northwest of the city.
Mrs. Delay was an earnest Christian, having united with the Adventist church several years ago, and has followed in her Savior's footsteps as nearly as anyone could. She has been a mother to her nephew and niece, who were left orphans when very young and have made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Delay.
Mrs. Delay leaves a husband, four brothers, two sisters and a host of friends who will miss her presence and companionship here but will rejoice in knowing that she is at home with god.
Funeral services were held in the Christian church at Tyrone, Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. I. V. Miner of the Adventist church in Hutchinson. Undertaker S. A. Miller had charge of the remains.
