Mr. Jim Harvey Marshall, 72, died on Friday, October 10, 2008, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, at the Stokesdale United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Stoneville, N.C., Jim was born on April 4, 1936, the son of the late Harvey Reid and Lucy Stowe Marshall.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Case Marshall of the home; daughter, Sandy Marshall Freeman and her husband, Jay; son, Jeffrey Reid Marshall and wife, Jessica; five grandchildren, Christopher, Sr., Kelsey, Georgia, Reid and Collin; three great grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Nathaniel, and Joshua, and his mother-in-law, Faye Case.
