Berkie Mills Bailey, 73, of Livingston died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, in Memorial Medical Center, Livingston. Interment followed in Big Sandy Cemetery.
Mrs. Bailey was born Aug. 20, 1929 in Village Mills to Benny and Gladys Riedinger Mills. She married L.E. Bailey on Aug. 2, 1947 in Big Sandy. She had been a resident of Livingston since 1947 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Livingston. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bennie Rae Faggard and brother, T.W. Mills.
Survivors include her husband, L.E. Bailey of Livingston; son, Mitch Bailey and wife Betty of Houston; daughters, Jettie Ann Briseno and husband Fernando of Livingston and Melody Golden and husband Dixon of Center; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
