Mary Josephine Council Adams, age 67, died Friday September 26, 2008. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Oak Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Roy Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Adams a native of Wilkinson County was a retired Employee of the Baldwin County School Lunchroom and was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Ruby Vinson Council.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Woodard (James) and Kathy Adams both of Gordon, son Jimmy Adams (Cassiney) of Milledgeville, sisters Annette Balkcom of Gordon, and Elaine Brown of Dalton, brothers Ralph Council and Jimmy Council both of Milledgeville, five grandchildren: Jennifer Woodard, Brandon Adams, Jamie Zbroskewick, Courtney Warnock, Chadwick Griffin and four great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Moores Funeral Home.
