Myra E. Foster, 98, of Princeville, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at her daughter's residence.

Born February 13, 1905, in Good Hope, Illinois, the daughter of Charles O. and Mary Elizabeth Pollock Selfridge, she married Armond T. Foster on August 17, 1928, in Princeton , Illinois. He died January 4, 1988, in Peoria.

Surviving are 1 daughter, Sayra (and Philip) Johnson of Princeville, IL. Her parents, 2 sons, Thomas Foster and Dick Foster, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

She graduated from Western Illinois State Teachers College, Macomb, and came to Princeville in 1925 to teach until her marriage. She was a member of WIU Alumni Association, Princeville Women's Club, Princeville Historical Association, and Order of the Eastern Star, Wyoming Chapter #91. She was a 75-year member of the Princeville United Methodist Church, and it's Esther Circle.

Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.
