Memorial services for Virginia Lee Bookout Hartzell, 84, of Branson, will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 1, 2008, at Victor Baptist Church, in Branson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until service time.
She died July 24, 2008, at her residence.
She was born June 8, 1924, in Branson, daughter of Ed and Elsie Bookout.
She was a life-long resident of Taney County and a member of Victor Baptist Church and 4-H in Taney County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Hartzell; parents; daughter, Sally Hartzell; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her children, Phoebe Quinn and Phyllis Stout, both of Springfield, Harold Hartzell and Penny Carroll, both of Branson, Myron Hartzell, of Buffalo, Paula Hartzell, of Joplin, and Peggy MeGonegle, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
