Leon was the oldest child and only son born to Myrtle Elizabeth (Brackeen) White and Johnie Floyd White. He had four sisters: Faye, Mae, Dale and Lena. The father of three children, Sharon, Danny, & Diane and two grandchildren,who he adopted, Angie & Johnnie Ray. He was very much loved by all who knew him. He worked at General Motors in Arlington, Texas and retired from there, in 1995. He was a member of Aerospace Optimist Club in Fort Worth and an Adult Leader of Longhorn Council of Boy Scouts of America.
He was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his wife, Marcella (Vochoska) White, his sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Karen White of Wolcott, CT., and Johnnie Ray White of Fort Worth; daughters, Sharon Neely and husband, Hubert, Diane Marconett and husband, David and Angie Higdon, all of Fort Worth; sisters, Faye Drake and husband Stew of Granbury, TX., Mae Holder of Euless, TX, Dale DeShong and husband, Tom of Tucson, AZ and Lena Merk and husband, John, of Arlington, TX., Grandchildren, Aimee and Danny White, many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Friends.
