Lois Marie Weiler, a Winchester business owner and city councilwoman, died of a cerebral aneurysm Thursday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at Lewiston. She was 56.

She was born July 5, 1935, at Grangeville to Joseph and Violet Lamb Cash and attended Grangeville and Win chester schools.

She and Ray L. Weiler were married April 12, 1954, at Orofino. They lived at Yakima, Spokane and in Oregon before his death Oct. 10, 1988.

Weiler returned to Winchester and worked at the Camas Club Cafe at Craigmont. She also owned and operated the Little Corner Gift Shop at Winchester and served as a councilwoman.

She was a member of the Lutheran church and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and playing bingo.

Survivors include a son, Michael Ray Weiler of Yakima; three daughters, Carolyn Welch and Linda Weiler Harris, both of Yakima, and Kathy Viann McMillen of Lewiston; her mother, Violet Cash of Winchester; four brothers, Tom Cash and Rick Cash, both of Winchester, Lyle Cash of Juliaetta and Randy Cash of Lewiston; a sister, Linda Rupe of Winchester; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her father and two brothers died previously.

Her funeral is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Uhlorn Funeral Chapel at Craigmont. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at Yakima.
