E. A. ANDERSON FORMER RESIDENT, DIES SATURDAY
Ernest Alton Anderson, 38, of Springhill and formerly of Bastrop died on August 22, 1942 in Springhill after a few days' illness. His death occurred in a Springhill hospital following an operation. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home of Bastrop on Monday, August 24, 1942 at 2 pm with Rev. Burns of the Cherry Ridge Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born in Rapides Parish, and came to Bastrop in 1921. He resided here until four years ago, when he moved to Springhill. He was employed in the paper mill in Springhill.
