Alice E. Hicks Brossman, widow of Charles E. Brossman, 454 N. Fourth St., died Thursday evening in her home at the age of 64. Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late George M. and Ella Firestone Hicks. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, and the Katherine and Martin Luther Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Order of Independent Americans, No. 5, Myerstown. Surviving are eight children; Charles E., Lebanon; Lucille, wife of Warren Brandt, Lebanon; William R., Bothell, Wash.; Emma, wife of John Reiner, Lebanon; John H., Lebanon; Helen, wife of Harold Dissinger Jr., Corpus Christi, Texas; James Pl, Cleona; Katherine, wife of Melvin Runkel, Lebanon. Also 27 grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence and George Hicks, both of Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Imboden, and a stepmother, Mrs. Emma Hicks, both of Lebanon. A son, Robert, preceded her in death.
