Nancy Yetter

Nancy Yetter, 83, of Crystal Beach, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 28, 2008.

Born in Lancaster, PA on November 21, 1924, Nancy graduated from McKasky high school and was very happy to attend her 65th high school reunion last year. She met her future husband, Tom while visiting a friend at White Crystal Beach. They married and raised their family in New Castle, DE. Nancy was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She dedicated her life to her faith, family, children and her grandchildren. She loved traveling, having fun with the Jesters and the Red Hats, watching the beautiful sunsets over Turkey Point and spending time with her faithful beagle, Tipper. She will always be remembered for being the life of the party, having a creative spirit and her unconditional love. Nancy, dearly loved by her family and friends, is and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Anna Norton, her beloved husband, Thomas H. Yetter and her sister, Elizabeth Miller. She is survived by her children, Carol Rae Yetter, Thomas Yetter Jr., Charles Yetter, his wife Theresa, and Todd Yetter; her grandchildren who brought her tremendous joy to her life: Natalie Dunlap, Ryan Dunlap, Mindy Price (Yetter), Tommy Yetter III, Erik Yetter, Mark Yetter, Reece Yetter, Elizabeth Yetter, Sarah Yetter. She is also survived by her brother, Harry Norton and wife Anne. Her wishes were that her funeral should be as A Celebration of Life ceremony. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 6 at 11am at BEESON FUNERAL HOME OF NEWARK, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Fox Run, with visitation from 9:30-11 am. Inurnment will follow at Glebe Cemetery, New Castle, DE immediately following.
