Don fought a courageous battle with cancer for sixteen months with every need being met by his loving wife, who looks forward to the day they will meet again.
Don was born Sept. 2, 1941, to William Buford and Nola Mae Jarvis Albea, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Albea, Nita Sessoms and Jessie Jordan.
Don was a retired Marine, Gunnery Sergeant. He served for twenty years and was very proud of his service to our country. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He was a retired truck driver from Fed-Ex Ground and had driven a tractor trailer for twenty eight years.
The last six years his wife drove with him.
He was a member of David Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.
Interment: Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
