"Thelma L. Knoth"
Thelma L. "Tommy" Knoth, 82, of 100 Lori Lee Drive, died at 4:10 a. m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, in Rosewalk Village.
Born Nov. 12, 1921, in Felton, Minn., she married Francis J. Knoth on July 20, 1939, in Lafayette. He died Feb. 7, 1992.
Mrs. Knoth was a homemaker.
She was a member of a St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Moose Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Charter Auxilary and Sigma Chapter of Delta Sigma Kappa. She sang with the ambassadors at the Senior Center and was involved with the Ceramics Club there. She was given an Older Woman of the Year Award by the Area IV Council on Aging, and was recently profiled in the "Journal and Courier" Power of Caring for her volunteer efforts.
Surviving are sons, Dennis Knoth (wife: Jane) of Delphi, Richard Knoth (wife: Boyoung), all of Lafayette, and Robert Knoth (wife: Cindy) of Delphi; and two daughters, Mary Ann Fair (husband: Ron) of West Lafayette and Peggy Reedy (husband: Wayne) of Monticello, and a sister, Marjorie Nicholas of Lafayette.
