Mr. Roar is a son of the late Watt and Ethel Dora Mosier Roar.
William was a loving father, grandfather, neighbor and a friend to all who knew him. He was a retired employee of A. O. Smith where he worked as a labor. William was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-six years, Beulah Holbrook Roar; one son, Douglas Lee Roar; one brother, Alva Roar; four sisters, Adith Hatton, Bernice Bledsoe Noble, Lucille Stout and Eva Stephenson.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James David and Linda Sue Roar of Mansfield, Ohio, Billy Jo and Mary Lou Roar and Ricky Scott Roar all of Olive Hill; two daughters, Robin Lynn Roar of Grayson, and Rita Kay Skaggs of Olive Hill; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
