Jacob R. Stine, a well known and respected citizen of West Hemlock township, died very suddenly at his home Thursday, September 15, aged seventy three years, seven months and nineteen days. He had been in failing health for a long time. He is survived by a wife, one son and three daughters, namely: McKelvy, Phoebe and Scietta who are married, and Anna who lives at home. Funeral services were conducted Shunday, at the Church at Swenoda by Rev. Brown of Danville and interment in the Swenoda cemetery.
