Memorial services for Lee Nickell, 49, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Chapel, Bobby Johns officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Nickell died on Sunday, August 10, 2008, at his home. He was born October 6, 1958, at Ada to Rennie Mancil Nickell and Edna Othelia Vermillion Nickell. He attended school at Francis and Allen. He worked for 8 years at Brockway Glass until the plant closed, then for 3 years at the Ada City Schools. He also operated Lee's Lawn Service for 25 years.He married Karen Elizabeth Myers on November 1, 1980.Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home; three sons, Bradley Nickell and his wife Kristen, Ada; Eric Nickell, Ada; and Steven Nickell, Ada; one grandson, Connor Nickell, Ada; and three brothers, Larry Nickell and wife Joyce, Moore; Hugh Nickell, Holdenville; and Beaty Nickell, Del City; and a sister, Carolyn Grove, Ada. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Callie Matthews and Polly McCurley; and a brother, Lloyd Nickell.Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
