Martha Ann Lowe was born to Jessie Siler Lowe and Mary Beverage In Van Buren County Arkansas. She married Thomas Jackson Bentley in 1891 in Van Buren Arkansas. They had nine children . They moved to Oklahoma in the 1920's . Four of their children Ervin, Benjamin, Minnie, Mary Viola moved to California. all four stayed in California and are buried in different place in California.
