His favorite pastime was fishing -- especially at Winchester Lake -- every summer he would bring his grandkids/kids there to fish.
He finished an 11 generation genealogy book detailing his mother's side of the family.
There will be a graveside service, at the Harpster Cemetery, Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m. Immediately following, there will be a get-together lunch at the Harpster community building, potluck style.
The family asks that you make any donations to the Cancer Society, and no flowers, please.
