Virgil George Blunhof, 89, went to heaven on May 1, 1998. He was born August 17, 1908, in Wentzville, Missouri to Alfred & Emma Theilman Blumhof. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1920 and Virgil graduated from Central Highschool in 1926. Virgil served his country in the U. S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Haskell during World War 11. He married Louise Aline Smith on October 18, 1947.

Virgil was a member of the Crestwood Baptist Church since 1963 and attended faithfully for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Aline; daughter, Norma Thomson; 3 brothers and one sister, all of Oklahoma City. He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed.

Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., May 4, 1998, at the Crestwood Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
