Services for Mytle Lanell Nevill Brown, 70, of Waurika will be Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at 9 a.m. at the Marsden Baptist Church with Rev. Claud Williams officiating. Internment will be at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson with arrangements by Alexander Funeral Home.
Born Feb. 8, 1936, to John Sid and Elva Leona Bollen Nevill in Waurika, she died March 4, 2006, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her husband Jacob "Jake" Lewis Brown on April 9, 2004, and her parents.
Brown grew up at Meadowbrook where she graduated from high school. After her marriage to Jake Brown, they traveled extensively in their earlier years before settling in Southern Oklahoma to raise six children. She was a devoted wife and mother who was always setting a christian example for her children.
Survivors include daughters: LaNelle Baker, Overbrook, Rebecca Hampton, Comanche and Naomi Brown, Waurika; sons, Gary Brown, Ardmore, Greg Brown, Waurika and Jeffry Brown, Lone Grove; brothers, Charlie Nevill, Ontario, Calif., Leroy Nevill, Overbrook and Harold Nevill, Modesto, Calif. Also 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Kaleb Fitzgerald, Jonathan Baker, Steven Baker, Timothy Brown, Chris Brown, Ronald Brown and Joshua Wyatt.
