They had the folliwing children: Martha Fredonia Jackson, William Allen Jackson,
Elizabeth Jackson, and Mary Ella Jackson. He was a Confederate soldier fom May
9, 1862 to June 1, 1865. Wounded severely in the right hand on July 16 1864,in
the trenches near Petersburg, Virginia. This caused the loss of his middle
finger. Lived in Montgomery Co., Alabama until 1867 when he and brother John
Kirby, along with families moved to Lafayette Co., Florida. Occupaion: Farmer
