ANDREW was a gift from our son
BUDDY RAY.
We got him when he was just
six weeks old.
He was named after HURRICANE ANDREW,
because he was a little Hurricane
himself as a puppy. ANDREW was a joy to
us the whole time we had him.
ANDREW died from heart failure.
We had ANDREW cremated and ANDREW
sits on a shelf in our family room,
beside HIS MASTER'S CHAIR.
********************
We got MABLE, ANDREW'S MOTHER
from our son BUDDY RAY when
his first child was born in 1996.
MABLE was then seven years old and a
little tempermental. They were afraid
for MABLE to be around the baby,
so we took MABLE.
MABLE died 6 months after ANDREW,
also of heart failure, in November
of 2003.
We also had MABLE cremated and
MABLE sits beside ANDREW.
MABLE didn't care a whole
lot for anyone but me,
MABLE loved me and
I loved MABLE just as much.
*********************
BUDDY & I sure do miss these
little dogs.
BUDDY and I are both
Animal lovers!
*********************
We now have another BOSTON
Named TEDDY BEAR and we are
enjoying him also.
We still have FRECKLES the female
cat we had when ANDREW and MABLE
were living.
We have found that animals,
like people all have their
own little personalities!
and like humans, one can't
replace the other, but,
each can bring you joy in
their own way.

Animals have certainly brought
JOY to OUR lives and we wouldn't
take anything for having the
opportunity to share in their
lives.

The picture to the right of ANDREW'S
6th birthday has MABLE wondering why
she doesn't have any candles on her
Roast Beef Sandwich:-)
MABLE was too funny!
Please feel free to enjoy all Andrew's
pictures located on the second page
not showing here.
*****************
I hope you have enjoyed our
tribute to our wonderful little pet.
ANDREW was a friend and so loved
by everyone.
ANDREW was never left anywhere as
we took him Everywhere we went.
ANDREW was ALWAYS with us.
When we went to eat in the
Hot season ANDREW was happy
just staying in the running
car with A/C and in the Cold with
the Heater on. Just as long as he
got to go.
I even had to pay a $125 fine (a ticket)
for Andrew once, because I had
him on a restricted beach?
He was probably cleaner than most
people who freqented the beach:-)
He'll always be loved, missed
and remembered.

~~~POEMS IN MEMORY OF ANDREW~~~
"REMEMBER ME"
Remember me when flowers bloom,
Early in the Spring. Remember me
on Sunny days, in the fun that
Summer brings. Remember me in the
Fall, as you walk through the leaves
of gold, and in the Winter time
remember me, In the stories that
are told.
But, most of ALL remember each day
right from the start, I will be forever
near you, for I live with-in your heart!
*RAINBOW BRIDGE*
Just this side of Heaven is a place
called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has
lived here on earth, they go to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows
to run and play in.
There is plenty of food, water,
and sunshine and they are warm
and comfortable.
Any animal who had been ill and
old are restored to health
and vigor: those who were hurt
or mained are made whole and
strong again, just the way
we remmeber them in our dreams of
days and times gone by. They are
happy and content, except for one
small thing: they miss someone
very special to them, someone who
had to be left behind.
It is a carefree place, where they
all run and play together.
Then one day one of them suddenly
stops its play and its
bright eyes are intent,
it's eager body begins
to quiver, suddenly it begins
to run from the group, flying over
the green fields.
It has seen you, and when you and
your pet finally meet, you cling
together in joyous reunion, never
to be parted again. The happy
kisses rain upon your face, your
hands caress it's beloved head and
you look once more into the trusting
eyes of your pet, so long gone from
your life, but never absence
from your heart. Then you cross the
rainbow Bridge together...
~~~Remember what I told you Andrew~~~

Wait for me at Rainbow Bridge!

~~~WHAT A DOG CAN TEACH US HUMANS~~~
If a dog was the teacher you would
learn things like:
1) When loved ones come home,
always run to greet them.
2) Never pass up the opportunity to go
for a joyride.
3) Allow the experience of fresh air
and the wind in your face to be pure
Happiness.
4) Stretch before rising.
5) Run, romp, and play daily.
6) Thrive on attention and let people
touch you.
7) Avoid biting when a simple
growl will do.
8) On warm days, stop to
lie on your back on the grass.
9) On hot days, drink lots of water
and lie under a shady tree.
10) When you're happy, dance around
and wag your entire body.
11) Delight in the simple joy of a
long walk.
12) Be loyal.
13) Never pretend to be something
you're not.
14) If what you want lies buried,
dig until you find it.
15) When someone is having a bad day,
be silent, sit close by and nuzzle
them gently.
16) Enjoy every moment of every day!
~~~WHAT ANDERW WOULD TELL US IF HE COULD~~~
I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW
THAT I MADE IT HOME,
THE JOURNEY WASN'T AN EASY ONE,
BUT IT DIDN'T TAKE TOO LONG.
EVERYTHING IS SO PRETTY HERE,
SO WHITE, SO FRESH AND NEW,
I WISH THAT YOU COULD CLOSE YOUR EYES,
AND THAT YOU COULD SEE IT TOO!
PLEASE TRY NOT TO BE SAD FOR ME,
TRY TO UNDERSTAND
GOD IS TAKING GOOD CARE OF ME.
I'M IN THE SHELTER OF HIS HANDS.
HERE THERE IS NO SADDNESS,
NO SORRY, NO PAIN.
HERE THERE IS NO CRYING
AND I'LL NEVER HURT AGAIN.

~~~In loving memory of Andrew~~~
and ALL our pets we have
loved through the years!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
***In the loss of our pet***

There must be a heaven
for the animal friends
we love. They are not human,
yet they bring out our own
humanity... Sometimes in ways
that other people cannot.
They do not worry about
fame or fortune...Instead,
they bring our hearts
nearer tothe joy of
simple things.
Each day they teach us
little lessons in trust
and steadfast affection.
Whatever heaven may be,
there's surely a place
in it for friends as
good as these!
