Connie Ellen Trethewey, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, died July 25, 2008 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. She was born July 15, 1926 at Hindsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Hubert and Annie Means Proctor. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert John Trethewey of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judy Trethewey of Iron Mountain, Michigan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Rod Becher of Columbia, Missouri and Sydney and Jason Isle of Overland Park, Kansas; one sister, Huberta Ann Branigan of Little Rock, Arkansas; and two grandchildren, Alexa Trethewey of Iron Mountain, Michigan and Micah Becher of Columbia, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, July 30, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Matthew Hagan officiating. Interment will be in the Buckeye Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Ken Branigan, Christopher Danforth, Jonathan Danforth and Jason Isle. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Project, University of Kansas Medical Center, 3901 Rainbow Boulevard, Kansas City, Kansas 66160.
