He was born April 19, 1940, at Esther, son of the late Tillman "Tim" Dalton and Julia Reese Dalton.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Georgia Hoehn.
Harold was a graduate of the Esther High School Class of 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Sumpter Dalton of Park Hills; one son, John Mark Dalton of U.S. Air Force, stationed in Delaware; one daughter, Susan Ray, Mrs. Ross Brown of Alabama; one step-daughter, Lisa Moore of Park Hills; two grandchildren; two sisters: Anna Robinson of Crystal City, Mo; Retta Pyatt of Park Hills; also several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel in Park Hills after 4:30 pm on Friday.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Caldwell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Herb McMillian officiating and assisted by Rev. Ronnie Graham.
Burial will be in the Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington.
