He was the son of Andrew John Rogers and Alberta Emswiler Rogers.

Bruce J. Rogers

Bruce Jackson Rogers, of Hagerstown Route 5, near Leitersburg, died suddenly at the Washington County Hospital Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, following an illness of several hours. He was 64 years old.

Mr. Rogers was born in Strasburg, VA, a son of the late Andrew and Alberta Rogers. He has been living near Hagerstown for the past 35 years, and had been a farmer since moving to this area. He was a member of the First Brethren Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha V. (Mongan) Rogers; a daughter Geraldine V. Rogers, at home and two brothers, John of Hagerstown and Aulden of Washington, D.C.

Funeral Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Minnich Funeral Home, Hagerstown, with the Rev. James E. Ault officiating. Interment will be in Green lawn Cemetery, Williamsport.
