Mrs. Delia C. Stewart Christopher, 89, formerly of 1017 S. 30th St., died at 5:05 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been a resident of Heritage Healthcare Center the past six years and hospitalized since Friday. Mrs. Christopher was born near Battle Ground and was a lifelong resident of the Lafayette area. In 1909 she was married, at Battle Ground, to Amos Christopher. He was an employee of National Homes Corp. and preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Christopher was a member of First Evangelical Mennonite Church and American War Mothers. Surviving are two sons, Everett Christopher of Brookston and Glenn Thomas Christopher of Terre Haute; and three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Mink and Mrs. Arthur (Ethel) Parris, both of Lafayette, and Mrs. Leon (Dorothy) Brower of Rossville.
