Services for Vermer Maye Rodgers, 68, of Anadarko will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Steverson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Russell, pastor of the Anadarko First Baptist Church, officiating.
Rodgers was born Feb. 13, 1923 in Cleveland, Arkansas and died Sunday at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She worked as a dry cleaning presser in Anadarko for Frank Stuart and E.L Patton. She came to Anadarko from Fort Cobb in 1947.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Tedford and Lydia (Meeler) Jones, and one brother, Joy Alvin Jones, in 1958.
Survivors include one son, Paul Rodgers of Cache; two sisters, Penny Rodgers and Sylvia Hobbs, both of Anadarko; two brothers, Coy C. Jones and Junior A. Jones, both of Anadarko; one grandson, Derrick Rodgers of San Diego, California and a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Memory Lane Cemetery.
