Funerl rites were held from the Virnig Funeral Home, Friday at 3 p.m. for Fred Billmeyer, 69, who passed away suddenly May 29th of a heart attack Ray's Garage in Genola. Interment was in the Pierz cemetery, with Rev. Lawrence Torborg officiating at the graveside rites.
Pallbearers for the services were Ed Kastanek, John Kikel, John Duschner, Frank Weiss, Joe Bednar, and Sylvester Meyer.
Mr. Billmeyer was a native of Morrison County, having been born and raised in the Pierz area. Of late he had been a resident of the Buckman Hotel in Genola.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Norbert Brummer (Anne), Onamia, and a brother, Theodore, of this place.
