MY GRANDFATHER WILLIAM PERRYMAN GRIDER, built his home in French Valley, Russell County, Kentucky. HIS FATHER AND MOTHER ARE, CLEVELAND M. GRIDER AND MARY MILLER GRIDER.
His siblings are; his twin sister Fannie, Bulen Grider, Joe Grider, Rue Grider, Scott Alan Grider, Ernest Grider. Cleveland and Mary had more children. As I learn who they are, I will enter them here.
William Perryman Grider, was the husband of Della Mae Phelps Grider. They had 12 children. six boys and six girls.
The boys are: Frank Ewing, Herman L., Wallace, Raymond, Monte Russell, and Hollis.
The Grider girls are: Nellie, my mother Mollie, Fannie, Annie, Nannie, and Nona (Nonie). All 12 siblings are gone now.
William and many members of his family are buried in the Old Grider Cemetery. It is on a back road.
My Grandpa Grider died before I was born, so I never knew him. He died of cancer of the prostate and bladder.
