MRS. NORA B. ARMISTEAD
Mrs. Nora Burroughs Armistead, 63, wife of Henry B. Armistead, died at her home at New Point on Tuesday night, November 6, after a long illness. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rufus D. Hudgins of Bavon and Mrs. Hubert W. Hudgins of New Point; two sons, Harry B. Armistead Jr., of New Point and Alton G. Armistead of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Neva B. Hudgins of Hampton, and Mrs. P. S. Heath of Miami, Fla.; six brothers, M. C., L. G., Joseph and William Burroughs of Bavon, George Burroughs of Motorun and Walter Burroughs of New Point, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Beulah M. E. Church, of which she was a member, Friday, November 9, at 2:30 P.M., conducted by the Rev. K. R. Collie. Interment in Friendship Cemetery.
