Deceased Name: Enious E. Adams

TSGT Enious E. "Gene" Adams, USAF, Retired, age 72 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 in Gulfport. Mr. Adams was a resident of the coast since 1984. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the American Legion Joe Graham Post 119, the VFW, and the Moose Lodge in Gulfport.

He was in the Marines for 3 years during Korea; and retired from the United States Air Force after serving Vietnam. After the Air Force, he was a technician at Cable One for 22 years.

Mr. Adams was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing, playing darts, and cards. He attended Phillips College and earned his Bachelors Degree in Management/Business.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer T. and Alma Adams. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Anna E. "Alice" Adams of Gulfport; his sister, Shirley Russell of Spring Mills, PA; and numerous other family members, friends, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, with visitation starting one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 366 Cowan Rd. Gulfport, MS 39507.
