Harry was the son of John P Wollesen and Theresa Bishop. He lived in Lake View all his life and had been employed as a laborer. He was married and divorced (Edna) Mauer. He was the father of Maxine, Patricia, and Lois.


July 1, 1964 - Carroll Daily Times - Harry A Wollesen, 65, died Monday June 29, 1964 about noon while at work on the roof of his house in southeast Lake View.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 from the United Church of Christ with the Rev EG Brinkmeyer officiating.

Mrs Wilmer Peck provided organ music for the service and casket attendants were Wm Meyer, Sr, Louis Strauss, Edward Lange, Ed Drilling Sr, Ed Albrecht, and Arnold Gerdes. Burial was in the Wall Lake cemetery with Farber and Otteman in charge of arrangements.

Mr Wollesen was the son of John P and Theresa Bishop Wollesen and spent his life near Lake View.

Surviving are daughter Paul (Lois) Ziegman, Odebolt; and three grandsons.
