|Todd Cemetary also known as Trough Creek Cemetary, Todd Township, Huntingdon County, PA. Below is an article found on churches found in Todd Township. Trough Creek Methodist Episcopal Church. A Methodist society was formed in the northern part of the township before the commencement of the present century, and a log church building was erected. The only remaining record of the early proceedings of that society is an article of agreement by Henry Elias, granting the use of the site of this house. The original church was finished within primitive style, with a rude gallery, slab benches and a high pulpit. About fifty years since this was remodeled, and the rough benches were replaced by comfortable slips. This church edifice was used till 1861, when it was taken down, and the present building was erected on its site. It is located near Trough Creek, about a mile south from Beavertown. It is a brick structure, with a seating capacity of four hundred and fifty.|
