Mrs. Dora Josephine Hawkins, 90, resident of 316 Spring Street, died April 3, 9:45 p.m. at her home. She was born April 17, 1870 at Ozark, Arkansas the daughter of Jeff and Mollie Box Nichols, and was a member of the First Methodist church.
Survivors include one son, Oscar E. Hawkins, Springdale; two daughters, Mrs. Grace Bagby of Tulsa and Miss Jeffa Hawkins of the home; one grandson, J.W. Harris of Tulsa; two brothers, Harve and F.E. Nichols, both of Ozark; one sister, Mrs. Bettie Miller of Fort Madison, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Callsion-Sisco Funeral chapel with Rev. T.C. Chambliss and Rev. George Ivey officiating.
Burial will be in Bluff cemetery under the direction of Callison-Sisco.[The Springdale News-Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas - April 4, 1961]
