Betty's wonderful life ended at age 57 from injuries suffered in a traffic accident.

Born September 30, 1950 in Rushville, she was the daughter of the late Mel Sharpe and Juanita Curtis Goddard; her Mother survives. Betty married Alfred E. Doll Jr. on July 28, 1976; he survives.

A graduate of Rushville High School Class of 1968, Betty was a lifelong Rushville resident until moving to rural Franklin County a few years ago. She worked for the Rush County Schools in the high school cafeteria since February 1982 and was the cafeteria manager since 1984. She was a bowler on the Tuesday night Ladies Recreation League in Rushville.

Survivors in addition to her mother and husband include one daughter, Yvonne (Mrs. Eddie) Stephens of Fountaintown; three sisters, Melita (Mrs. Jerry) Hartwell, Sara (Mrs. Dan) Clevenger and Georgia (Mrs. Brian) Gurley, all of Rushville; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 AM Tuesday December 4, 2007 at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with Pastor Dena Vittorio officiating with burial following in Rushville's Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions were made to the Diabetes Association or the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
