Passes Away

Anna J. Babcock, 68, a lifelong resident of West Concord died Wednesday. June 5th at Rochester Methodist Hospital after a six week illness with lukemia.
Miss Babcock was born November 12, 1905, in West Concord, graduated from West Concord High School and attended Mankato State College. She was a member of the West Concord United Methodist Church.
Survivors Include four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Peterson and Mrs. Eta Uptagrafft, both of West Concord; Mrs. Martin (Ruth) Nelson of Rochester and Mrs. Edna Kartel of Mason City Iowa.
Services were held Saturday, June 8th at2 p.m. at the United Methodist church with Rev. Franklin T. Christenson officiating. Interment was in Concord Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Mike Hughes, Gary Lauders Delmar Bartholomew, Burton Frederick. Allen Dirt and Blaine Benson.
The West Concord Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
