Twisp - Millie Almeda, 91, a resident of Twisp, passed away Monday morning, June 10, 1996, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane.

She was born on April 22, 1905, at Waterville, to George and Dora (Doughty) Brown. She was raised and attended school in the Entiat Valley and Waterville. She operated and owned numerous cafes, among them the Winthrop Cafe. For the last 30 years, she owned a small cattle ranch in the Methow Valley near Twisp.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Reynolds of East Wenatchee; three sons, George Moore of Twisp, Robert Moore of East Wenatchee and Evan Fink of Winthrop; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Furman Bagwell, a daughter, Dora (Fink) Cyrus, one grandson and one great-grandchild.

Precht's Methow Valley Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

MILLIE ALMEDA BAGWELL - Services will be held June 17th, Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the Precht's Methow Valley Chapel in Twisp. Viewing will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. until service time at Precht's Methow Valley Chapel. Memorials can be given to the American Heart Association. Precht's Methow Valley Chapel in charge of arrangements.
