Dorothy Frances Eaton was the youngest of six children born to Fred Eaton and Helen Burdick. She was born in Los Angeles on July 23, 1894. She married William Muir Cahoone on October 31, 1912, in Butte, Montana. They were later divorced. Two children were born to Dorothy and William. William Frederick Cahoone was born in Los Angeles on March 1, 1916. Catherine Ann Cahoone was born April 27, 1919, also in Los Angeles. Dorothy's second marriage was to Claude Eugene Beesly. He was born March 4, 1892, in France, and died October 31, 1968, in Bishop, Inyo County, California. They had no children. Dorothy died on January 27, 1977, at Northern Inyo Hospital at the age of 82. Funeral services were held February 5 with the Reverend James C. Thompson of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church officiating at the service at Brune-Talmage Chapel. Interment was private.
