She was the daughter of Ezikiel Shelton and Tilda Ann Cattron.Preceded in death by her father and husband Jasper Evans, one brother Lewis Shelton, 2 daughters Margaret, Alta, 2 sons Willis and Curtis. Survived her husband Jacob Brown; three sons, William, Herman, Carlos all of Oneida; 3 daughters Lenal Angel of Cincinnati, OH, Ruby Chambers and husband Claude of Oneida, Louise Brown of Oneida; mother Tilda Ann Cattron-Shelton; 3 sisters Sallie Coulter of Cincinnati, OH Martha Evans and husband John of Oneida, TN, Christine Dabney and husband Benjamin of Whitley City, KY; 1 bro. William Ruben (Bill) Shelton and wife Ora of Oneida, TN. Burial followed in Davidson Cemetery Pickett County, TN.
