Mr. Alton Thomas ''Chick'' Davis of Wilmington, NC, died Wednesday, July 6, 1994, in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.
He was born in the Sneads Ferry Community of Onslow County, NC, on October 31, 1906, the son of the late James Chadwick and Dora Breece Davis, and was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Coley Davis.
Mr. Davis was a member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church and had served as Deacon and a former Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He was associated with the dry cleaning business for many years in the Wilmington area. Upon retirement, Mr. Davis attended Elderhaus.
Surviving are his son, Steven Thomas Davis of Wilmington; three nieces and two nephews.
